How to convert a stark, suburban strip mall unit into a whimsical children's boutique? Well, we did it with a little help from our friends. Two of our fave collaborators - West Michigan's Carlson Design, and Ashley Cole Interior Design (now based in Colorado) - joined us in Lakeway, Texas in 2012 to complete this delightful commercial project. Created specifically for the build by Carlson Design, a custom playscape and dressing rooms crafted from tents make the store fun for children and adults alike. A bright-green-stained concrete floor reinforces the outdoor theme. This finish-out totaled 2387 sq ft.
