We love it when our clients bring fabulous ideas to the design table! Despite its strikingly modern structural elements, the interior design on this residence located east of Austin took a refreshingly eclectic turn thanks to a variety of interesting finishes contributed by our homeowners. Reclaimed wood beams from an old barn, antique doors and lighting fixtures, and handmade Mexican brick and tile are among the many items making this home impossible to forget. American clay plaster walls, a metal roof and unfinished cedar siding - the last of which, we rain-screened and furred off the side of the house to permit life-extending breathing and drying - added beautiful textures. A truly unforgettable home.
